Artmobile 2021 was a success – we were able to bring the arts to 239 youth, teens, and parents on the East Side who do not take admission to the arts on a daily basis. Artmobile brought in 4 female artists of color who represented the diversity of the East Side of St. Paul to teach the art sessions throughout the summertime. Artmobile 2021's artists represented backgrounds of African American, Hmong, Japanese, and Indian cultures. Each artist demonstrated an art project for the kids of the community and those in the St. Paul Parks and Rec Rec Bank check programme. Projects included rock painting, luncheon box making (kids crafted food they like to eat out of paper and diverse art supplies to put in their own homemade lunch kit), cyanotype sun printing (a projection in the STEAM field that combines a science lesson and art project), mask making, parade wand creating, and a lesson on printmaking. Kids were able to utilize their imagination and creativity in all of these projects rather than sit down at home, bored, every bit kids ofttimes are in the summer. Artmobile provided a customs, an art lesson, and an entertaining and learning experience for children whose families often cannot afford expensive sports lessons, memberships, and classes in the summer. Kids continuously asked when Artmobile volition be back, evidence that this year'south program did its chore providing fun and learning feel to the Due east Side of St. Paul!
